Getting started
Drop in your website URL and Chaviar reads your public marketing pages to learn your business — no questionnaire to fill out. From that scan it builds your brand kit and starts drafting sample posts you can preview before you pay.
It's the saved profile Chaviar builds of your business: a short summary, your tone with do's and don'ts, your typical customers, your colors, fonts, logo, visual style, and whether you're local or online. Every piece of content is generated on top of it, so everything stays on-brand.
It's a vision-assisted pass that reads your site once — looking at screenshots of your homepage and a couple of key pages alongside the text. Colors, fonts, and your logo are pulled straight from the page, then the AI fills in the written profile.
Some sites sit behind a security service (most often Cloudflare) that challenges automated visitors, so our scanner gets stopped before it can read your pages. If you can edit your site's security settings, add a rule that lets Chaviar through: in Cloudflare, go to Security → WAF → Custom rules → Create rule, set the field to "User Agent", operator "contains", value "Chaviar", and choose the action "Skip" (skip remaining custom rules and Super Bot Fight Mode). Save, then tap Re-scan in Chaviar. On Wix, Squarespace, or Shopify you usually can't edit these rules yourself — just email [email protected] with your site address and we'll scan it for you.

We only keep the encrypted session — never your password, and you can always choose to continue without it.
Open your Brand page and fix anything — your capabilities, your tone, the sensitive topics to avoid. The content rules update to match, so future drafts follow your correction.
Setup needs something real to work with — a product, a feature, or a usable photo. If the scan finds nothing usable, Chaviar tells you honestly rather than inventing content. That’s usually a typo in the address, a brand-new site, or one mostly behind a login.
Creating content
Social posts and stories, plus ad creatives and email newsletters. Posts and stories are on every plan; ads and email are Pro features. Each one is generated from your brand kit, so the words, imagery, colors, and logo match your brand.
New drafts land in your “Waiting for you” deck — a swipe queue. Swipe right to keep a post, left to pass it. Nothing is published until you approve it.
Tap any item to open it full-screen in the editor. Editing the caption yourself is free, and so is asking the AI to rewrite the copy with a steer like “punchier” or “mention the rooftop” — neither costs a creative.
Editing the image — a fresh visual, optionally steered with directions like “make it brighter” or “show people” — uses one creative from your allowance. Each creative includes a free image re-roll first, so the first re-roll won’t cost you again.
Once approved, post it now, schedule it automatically at a smart time, or pick your own slot. Posts you passed stay editable and can still be posted later. Published content becomes read-only — it can’t be edited after it’s sent.
Yes — use the Create dialog, choose the type, and optionally add a prompt. You can paste a link and the AI will use its content as context. Any URL works.
Plans & billing
Free is $0, Starter $29/mo, Pro $79/mo, and Studio $179/mo — priced per brand. Starter adds auto-pilot scheduling, Pro unlocks emails and ad creatives, and Studio adds higher volume, more team seats, and priority generation.
Generation runs on a token wallet — one token covers each action you start, like generating a post, editing an image, creating an ad or email, or re-scanning your site. Each month adds a fresh allowance (Free 0, Starter 5, Pro 15, Studio 30), and anything you don't use rolls over for 3 months instead of disappearing at the end of the month.
Free is for trying Chaviar on one brand — posts and stories are included, but it has no monthly tokens, so paid actions (like re-rolling an image) will prompt an upgrade.
Buy a one-time top-up: 10 tokens for $17, or 30 tokens for $45. Top-ups stack on top of your monthly allowance and roll over — both unused monthly tokens and top-ups stay spendable for 3 months from when you receive them, then expire. We always spend your soonest-to-expire tokens first.
No. Editing a caption yourself and asking the AI to rewrite the copy are both free and don’t touch your token wallet. Each plan includes a generous monthly number of free text edits.
If a generation permanently fails, the creative is automatically refunded — you’re never charged for content you didn’t receive.
Brands & team
Yes. Each brand has its own brand kit, content, integrations, and subscription, and a switcher lets you move between them. Adding a new brand kicks off a fresh website scan.
Invite them by email from the brand’s team settings — they get an invite link that expires in 7 days, and you can resend or cancel pending invites any time.
Owner, Admin, and Member. Owners and Admins manage the team; only an Owner can invite or grant a co-owner. A brand always keeps at least one owner.
Seats are set by your plan, defaulting to 5. Used seats count members plus live pending invites — when they’re full, you’ll be prompted to remove a member or upgrade.
Yes — a member can leave a brand any time, unless they’re the sole owner. Access is revoked immediately when someone is removed.
Publishing & integrations
Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, and Mailchimp for email. You connect each one with a secure OAuth login from the Integrations section.
Meta connects your Facebook Page. Instagram and Threads each connect separately, so an Instagram-only business can connect directly without a Facebook Page.
No. Chaviar only publishes to a destination you’ve explicitly enabled — connecting an account never auto-posts anywhere on its own.
Emails go through your connected Mailchimp account to an audience you pick — Chaviar creates the campaign, sets the HTML, and sends it.
Chaviar watches connection health. If an account’s access expires or breaks, it shows a reconnect prompt and emails your brand’s admins to fix it — rather than silently failing.
LinkedIn is awaiting platform approval, so it may show as “coming soon” depending on availability. Meta and Mailchimp connect via real OAuth where configured.
Auto-pilot & planner
It drafts content in the background so your “Waiting for you” queue stays full. Auto-pilot drafts land in your review queue — Chaviar does not post without your action.
It’s a simple on/off switch — turn it on (from the dashboard or Brand settings) once you’ve connected a channel, and Chaviar drafts up to your plan’s full monthly allowance into your review queue. Until you turn it on, the planner stays off for that brand.
No. Auto-pilot runs on a separate, plan-bundled allowance (your monthly “auto-drafts”) that never touches your token wallet. Your tokens are only ever spent on work you start yourself.
Auto-pilot drafts in several small batches spread across your billing period rather than one big dump or a trickle of one a day — so your review queue fills steadily and stays reviewable. Nothing posts until you approve it.
Any time — just switch auto-pilot off in Brand settings. Turning it back on picks up again at your plan’s allowance.
Account & data
From the brand’s settings under Danger zone. It takes the brand owner and a typed confirmation; the brand is deactivated immediately and billing is paused.
From account settings — it’s protected by a fresh one-time email code as a re-authentication step before it proceeds.
Yes. Deletion is a soft-delete with a 30-day recovery window — within it you can reactivate and restore your brands and resume billing. After the window, everything is permanently purged. Billing is paused reversibly during that time, so you can change your mind without losing the brand.
Chaviar does not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context advertising. We collect your account info, brand details, generated content and assets, and standard technical info, and only share with connected providers as needed to run the integrations you connect.
Read the privacy policyCaptured login sessions are encrypted, expire in about two hours, and are deleted after the crawl uses them or when you cancel or disconnect. We only keep the encrypted session — never your password.
